Here you can see how my double page is built up over time and each feature is added individually. 

The introduction to the article started off black, but I decided to change it to the pink colour so that it would stand out as a part of information the reader would look at first.

Page numbers are now added at this part of the construction, the title is across the entire of the page.

 I decided to change the title to be on the left hand side only, this was to work along side the main image I was going to add onto the double page spread. 

As you can see here the double page spread is now starting to look more similar to the finished product, however the doodles are not yet properly edited. You can see I have used layers throughout this process to be able to put the main image over the top of the doodles to make the work look cleaner.

Double Page Spread Second Draft

Resubmission Work:

This is the first draft I made for double page spread. As a starting point It was okay - but I got feeback that the article should not go over the centre line and it would be more difficult to read - it is also unconventional to have the writing over 2 the two pages. 

I also learnt from this fist draft that the image was a bit to similar to the one on the front so using a different image would make the double page spread more interesting for the reader.

Front cover

I decided to change my magazine front cover, after I received feedback from my teacher. As you can see I added the price,and included more stories and also put stories on the left hand side of the  and made the background brighter because I think it looked better. It also is improved by looking fuller and more packed with stories. The importance of the price and the fuller front cover was what would make it look more professional and realistic.

By moving my plug above the bar code, I freed up space to but in the '5 people who changed music' and the 'Special look into the future of music technology'. I also put the social media things on top of each other because I think it looks better.

DPS First Draft

This is the first ever draft I have created for my double page spread. It was basic but I started to get the feel for what I needed to create for a successful product. It also made me realise I needed to use photoshop a lot more to make it look realistic.
